Feet in the Sand
Sorry, I got nothing related to Halloween at this point. I will later today have lots of candy for the kids though, and hopefully they’ll leave none for me.
I don’t need the calories.

Fear of Heights
My Boston Terrier, Roxy, has the last week or so been developing a fear of heights. So we’ve had to carry her down some rock scrambles.
It’s a new thing. We’re trying not to let it become permanent.

My Las Vegas
Las Vegas may be known as the land of The Strip and the 24-hour party, it’s not the Las Vegas I live in. I live a little bit in the desert, and more in the mountains.
And this is about a 15-minute drive from my house, plus about 45 minutes of walking, hard walking actually.
FYI, off the strip, this town shuts down by about 7pm, maybe 8. It’s kind of odd actually.

Pre-Nuptials Game
There will be a number of images over the next few weeks from my buddy Sean’s wedding to Karen.
Ya gotta respect a man who on his wedding day is chill enough to go watch the Iowa football game (his alma mater) before getting ready to tie the knot, forever. Guess he had confidence in his decision.
(Iowa won, fyi.)

Las Vegas GirlFestival
Did a little volunteering for Las Vegas GirlFestival. Basically a way for women to perform or show their art work. I’m always up for helping an artist out.

Six Ladies VI
Okay, this is really cool, and I’ve seen it before but this is the first time I’ve had it explained and gotten it. This is big sphere swinging back and forth is proof the Earth rotates. If I remember correctly it takes this one about 42 hours to do a full rotation. You can learn a touch more here and a lot more about Foucault pendulums here. It’s cool.
This was also where I got to hear an 85-year-old grandmother ask her granddaughter, Erin, “Is he always such a sadist?” It was a good day.

Morning Walk
This one is from my morning walk and really shouldn’t have to wait in the line for it’s turn.
