Morning
Roxy seems to think it’s as much her bed as anybodies.

My View in Bed
Okay, duel, maybe tri-purpose post. Cute photo. Testing out my Wordpress iWife app. And being a total bum by doing this all before I get out of bed.
We will see how well this works.
Addendum: I don’t quite have all the controls I’d like for non-processed images from the Wordpress iWife app, but it ain’t too bad. I’d love more sizing control and to be able to add the border, both of which I did later. Ah well, maybe in the next version.

Fear of Heights
My Boston Terrier, Roxy, has the last week or so been developing a fear of heights. So we’ve had to carry her down some rock scrambles.
It’s a new thing. We’re trying not to let it become permanent.

Morning Walk
This one is from my morning walk and really shouldn’t have to wait in the line for it’s turn.

Because I Can CXIV
Some days I feel like things are out to get me. I don’t think I’m paranoid. I think.

Because I Can LXXXXVI

No little dogs were hurt or killed in the making of this photos. Well…that’s not totally true, her pads were probably a little raw and she was a bit exhausted from the hike, but I promise, she’s fine now, actually rather sleepy.

I am a Bad Man
My little dog, Roxy, hates water. It’s not insurmountable, but she hates it. She also must have her ball, whichever ball it is that day. So what do I do? I set-up a kiddie pool in the backyard, get her a big for her ball that day and make her bob for apples essentially. To fill up my afternoon.

My Thoughts of Late
This is totally personal. Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about one of my dogs, Roxy, my little 13lbs boston terrier.
She’s cute as all get out. She’s very sweet and loving. She’s loves to meet new people and explore. She can hike, anyplace my pit-bull can hike she can hike. It’s ridiculous the the slopes and rocks she can climb. And she is a crack addict for balls. She just loves playing with a ball. All the time. She’ll often sleep with it.
Friday she was out for a hike in the desert, normal enough, when she was bitten by a rattlesnake. A western diamondback Erin thinks. Whether Roxy was checking out something close to Erin to keep an eye on things, or was just found something new to smell we don’t know. What we do know is she got bit in the face.
Since then she’s been in the care of the vet. Things are still touch and go, she may not survive, but everyone seems hopeful that she will, she’s just not out of the woods yet.
I hope in a month she can go back to following me around the house as I do the mundane activities of life.
