Howdy, I’m a professional photojournalist based in the Las Vegas area. I previously worked for a company, as a staff photographer, that owns several weekly newspapers and a few magazines. I also do freelance work, and when I can, donate my time to arts organizations and small non-for-profits.

My current employment, while photographing almost daily, doesn’t permit me to publish my daily work, so if the last few months look different it’s because I can’t show it to you, not because my work is all that different.  I’m just having to find different images to show today.

If you choose to read this blog you’ll get a good idea of what I do. Also, realize that while I take my work seriously, I don’t take myself seriously, so if something I say sounds ridiculous or over the top or just plain silly, realize I’m probably laughing at myself while I say it.

Currently I am working on having a new photo posted everyday.  Usually that’s in the morning, but sometimes things happen and it’s a bit later.  Call it a personal excercise, call it fun, call it an excuse, it’s probably all of those things, I’m trying it.  Much of it is my day to day life.
