Did a little volunteering for Las Vegas GirlFestival. Basically a way for women to perform or show their art work. I’m always up for helping an artist out.
I am a Bad Man
My little dog, Roxy, hates water. It’s not insurmountable, but she hates it. She also must have her ball, whichever ball it is that day. So what do I do? I set-up a kiddie pool in the backyard, get her a big for her ball that day and make her bob for apples essentially. To fill up my afternoon.
First Fridays
This is for a promo piece for the people at First Friday. (First Friday is a Vegas arts festival held the first Friday of each month.) This month there will be a bunch of people going to Burningman who will be showing off their art cars. I figured I’d try and get them a photo of an art car and artist with hope that the local papers would pick it up.
This is Malicious with her car that was inspired by a former neighbor’s annoying dog.
What’s with all the nature?
In case you’re wondering why all the nature shots lately it’s because I’m spending my time job hunting and doing other stuff that doesn’t involve a lot of people photography. It’s temporary. I’m also trying to post more regularly, close to if not daily.
Right now most of the time I get when I can shoot is when I’m walking the dogs, which is really an excuse for me to go on nice walks.
Red Rock Canyon, Calico 2 Wash Pano
This is a pano from about 2 months back which I just haven’t had time to finish up till today. It’s from Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas, by the Calico 2 parking area. Taken around sunset.
