It’s Like a Giant Dandelion
It's like a giant dandelion, about as round as a volleyball or so. Big. As best as I can figure this is Tragopogon dubius. I found it in Lovell Canyon, Nevada on the side of the road. I'm not really sure on that ID though, also known as Goat's Beard, Giant Dandelion, or Salsify. It is an invasive species in the United States.
