Terry Choyce, a firefighter with the Nevada National Test Site, was off-duty and running errands with his wife when he saw a person lying face down in the road. He immediately used his car to block traffic and ran to assist the elderly man, who was not breathing. Terry began CPR and continued for several minutes until he heard the man take his first gasp of air. Terry then waited with him until paramedics arrived. The elderly man made a full recovery and has become close friends with Terry and his family.
